Top songs playlist from Bollywood’s favorite music composers

Vishal Dadlani has become one of the best and most popular musical composers in Hindi cinema lately. Dadlani was born on June 28, 1973 and is also known as a singer and songwriter. His versatility and dynamic feel for music have always enchanted audiences. Dadlani’s strengths are indie rock, pop music, and electronica, and he is considered one of the first composers to introduce independent music into the industry.

The passionate music lover founded the indie giant OML aka Only Much Louder (2002), a gigantic music festival. Dadlani works mainly with Shekar in his musical compositions. The duo have released some of the overwhelming hits (Jhankar Beats, Salaam Namaste, Bluffmaster) over the years. Her numerous hits include Dus Bahane, Maa Da Laadla, Anjana Anjani, Dhan-te-nan, Balam Pichkari, Radha, Dhoom Again, Jee le Zara, Malhari and many more.

Chammak-Challo: This groovy track by Ra.One was a fantastic mix of Western, Indian and Middle Eastern music. This was Dadlani’s first collaboration with world star Akon.

d-Daa Punjab: Dadlani packed a lot of swag, energy through his rap on this theme song. The song composed by Amit Trivedi conveyed a persistent feeling of drowning.

Gulabo: It was a tapping duet from Shandaar, sung by Dadlani and Anusha Mani, composed by Amit Trivedi.

Sacrifice Hua: It was a reverberant number sung by Dadlani from the Kurbaan movie. Vishal’s hoarse, warm rendition of the song was superb.

Musu musu haasi: This composition had become a national favorite of the youth in the late 1990s. It was a melodious, wonderful, romantic song from the movie Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi.

Where Pehli Baar: This song from the same movie was very much loved by the audience and continues to be very popular.

Aao Na: A powerful track penned by Gulzar for the film Haider, this spirited song was wonderfully sung by Dadlani.
