A dream wedding was “ruined” after a catalog of mistakes, so that the groom wanted the world to devour him.
Martin and Tina Feuz had their hearts for a warm, stress-free beach wedding in Cyprus with around 40 of their closest friends and family.
The luxury wedding in October 2019 cost her £ 25,750, including a spectacular wedding reception on a catamaran around the island.

They booked with Tui who organized a wedding planner to organize the food on the mini cruise around the island, snorkeling and fireworks.
Speaking on Channel Fives When Luxury Holidays Go Horrably Wrong, Tina said they asked what would happen if the weather changed and she said the Tui rep said there was a “Plan B” and don’t worry.

In bad weather they had their reception on a catamaran in the harbor and still had fireworks and snorkeling.
Unfortunately, dark clouds were gathering, but it wasn’t until the morning of the wedding that a number of problems began for the couple.
It had started with the hairdresser, who Tina said was rude to her and not putting her hair in a hairstyle she liked and then offered the wrong bouquet.
But it got worse, said Martin: “I was at the reception and greeted the guests and Tui came up to me and told me the catamaran had been canceled.

“The first thing that crossed my mind was what to say to Tina?
“After talking to my best man, I decided not to tell her until after the ceremony – I didn’t want to spoil this special moment, it was already spoiled for me.
“So I had it in the back of my mind that at some point I would have to tell my future wife that the highlight of the day was canceled. I didn’t want to hurt Tina the way I was hurt, I didn’t want to be the one to say ‘it’s over ‘It’s canceled’ I didn’t want to be the person to spoil my favorite day.

“I didn’t want to be the person who said, ‘Your dreams won’t come true, your special day is ruined, that’s it, it was over before it started’.
At the last minute, a hotel was found that could accommodate the bride and groom and all of their guests.
Martin said, “Basically, I agreed to the only option I was given, which was to go to this other restaurant hotel.”
But there were even more problems if the wrong song was played as Tina wanted to walk down the aisle and had to be stopped twice.
Martin admitted that he found it difficult to smile in wedding pictures

When it was time for the wedding photos, the photographer kept asking Martin to smile and be happy, which was difficult for him because he still had to deliver the news to Tina.
Martin said: “In many pictures I don’t smile, I panic and try not to show it.”
But his new bride took the news well and decided to make the most of their special day, so the entire wedding party got on the bus to take them to the new venue.

Tina said, “All of a sudden there was a really loud bang and the bus wobbled and fell – the bus was broken.”
The entire wedding party then had to get out and go to the wedding breakfast, where they found that the beverage package was not sorted and no one could get hold of a glass of champagne to toast the new couple.
Martin said, “I just thought, ‘What can still go wrong? What’s going to happen now?’
“That day that I planned for nine months – it just broke me, everything that could go wrong went wrong.
“I just went to the bathroom and put my head in my hands and just wanted the world to swallow me up.”
A Tui spokesperson said, “We are very sorry to hear of Mr. and Mrs. Fuez’s experience on a very special day.
“We will be in direct contact with the customer to apologize and offer a gesture of goodwill.”
Tina added, “It’s not about the money, it’s about making sure other people don’t have to go through the day we went through.”
Martin said, “We chose Tui because the brochure looked good, the wording looked good. They said they would make your dreams come true. They just made my nightmares come true.”
