The Miz has been known to work celebrity opponents at WrestleMania over the past two years, but he’s also done so in hotel rooms.
Over the past two WrestleManias, The Miz has competed in tag team matches involving celebrity competitors. In 2021, he teamed with John Morrison in a losing effort to Damian Priest and Bad Bunny, while at the start of April, he defeated The Mysterios while teaming with Logan Paul. Both received celebrities widespread approval for their performance.
It’s now been revealed that The Miz once worked a forty-minute match in a hotel with Kieran Culkin, the brother of renowned Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin. Freddie Prinze Jr. discussed this on the latest Wrestling With Freddie podcast, where he was joined by AEW CEO Tony Khan (h/t Wrestling Inc.):
“I watched him wrestle The Miz at WrestleMania in Arizona when Bret Hart and the whole Hart family came in on Vince. They wrestled for 40 minutes in our hotel room, and it was like a shoot match, almost, and then Kieran lays down, finally, and Miz pins him for the 1-2-3. A 40-minute match, bro.”
This isn’t the first time Kieran Culkin has gotten involved with a WWE Superstar, as the 5 January episode of the podcast saw it revealed that Kieran once threw a beer over The Big Show. This resulted in the younger Culkin brother being removed from the event.

Macaulay Culkin has also been involved with WWE in the past, as he appeared on an August 2009 episode of Raw following Hornswoggle defeating Chavo Guerrero in a Falls Count Anywhere match. He walked into frame after Guerrero was defeated by the classic Home Alone gag of taking a paint can to the face.
The 41-year-old actor has previously explained regrets about not joining WWE, saying as such to Freddie Prinze Jr., who previously served as a WWE writer and producer between 2010 and 2012. Perhaps WWE can coax him into a future WrestleMania showdown with The Miz.
