Christmas Day was again left blank on the schedule, with Dobson saying the league was open to considering a proposal from the club for a game on that day in the future.
As the league neared its eleventh season, Dobson added that CA needed to balance fan tribalism with the need to welcome new fans.

“We now have fans who have been fans of the BBL for 10 years.”
Dobson was hoping foreign players could come into the country, but paid attention to the wellbeing of the players as many leading players will face bio-safe bubbles for nearly two years by this summer.
He said there are no immediate plans to include Indian players who have long been banned from playing non-Indian domestic leagues into the competition.
Meanwhile, following a legal battle between Seven West Media and CA over the broadcast rights, Dobson said that the relationship with the parties was going well and that they were involved in the planning process.
The handful of new rules put in place for the final BBL season are also being reviewed, with Dobson hesitating to predict how this process will play out.
