CAÑON CITY, Colorado (KRDO) – The Music and Blossom Festival is back in town this year after being canceled due to the pandemic last year.
The annual festival parade was a hit on Saturday. Hundreds of residents and visitors lined Main Street to watch school bands, law enforcement, and other local organizations.
“The fresh air is great. We have been doing this for seventeen years, the only one we missed was last year,” Melynda Kroll told KRDO. “Military, police, we support them all.”
“I’m so glad to finally come out and see that everyone is normal,” Zita Smith explained. “And then you see all of your friends walking around, you know?”
The festival also features dozens of food and craft vendors from Cañon City.
The big event continues on Sunday. Click here for more details.
