IN AN effort to increase eye health awareness among Malaysians, Vista Eye Specialist is holding its Eye Health Carnival nationwide in mid-February.
The carnival will be held at 12 of its centers across Malaysia.
“During the Eye Health Carnival, Vista’s team of specialist eye doctors and optometrists will offer eye screenings for the top three eye diseases that lead to blindness.
“Visitors will also be able to experience the challenges of living with eye problems through interactive games,” said Vista marketing manager Fionna Tong
In addition to eye screenings, the carnival will also feature a variety of activities, including photo booths, physiotherapy, health screenings (including blood sugar and blood pressure tests), manicure services and face painting.
Visitors to the carnival will have the opportunity to do good for the community by purchasing limited-edition merchandise, of which proceeds will go towards supporting local dog shelters.
Entry to the carnival is free and pre-registration is available.
Lasik and cataract surgery packages will also be available starting from RM1,998 per eye.
